Title race, full competition, Hentges team all get a boost from PIRTEK
PIRTEK is returning for the sixth consecutive season as a sponsor of Amsoil Championship Snocross Powered by RAM, which commences the day after Thanksgiving.
Snocross is an adrenaline-rush sport, a kind of “motocross on snow” that features high-flying leaps by snowmobile racers around a track. The national race series takes place at various tracks in several states.
The opening Snocross race weekend is on Nov. 29, featuring the Amsoil Snocross National in Duluth, MN.
“We’re looking forward to this year’s Snocross season and all the excitement, as we do every year,” said Georganne DeSeve, PIRTEK USA marketing manager. “We’ve been doing this sponsorship for six consecutive seasons and we work hard each time to make it a success. The fan base for this sport keeps expanding and we enjoy being a part of it.”
The only franchise brand of its kind in the United States, PIRTEK specializes in hydraulic and industrial hose services from its locations throughout the country. PIRTEK USA team members are also available 24/7 to provide onsite repairs to hydraulic and industrial hoses, thanks to the company’s specially equipped Mobile Service Vehicles. PIRTEK boasts more than 400 franchise locations in 23 countries around the world, including 90 in the United States.
PIRTEK’s title race, the PIRTEK Snocross National Presented by Country Cat, is scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 3-4, 2020, at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, MN.
In exchange for its support of the title race in Shakopee, PIRTEK will have its branding emblazoned on all the snowmobiles. The track’s screen will run PIRTEK video advertisements and PIRTEK branding will appear on the track signage, along with other prominent displays.
In a special addition to PIRTEK’s involvement in Snocross this year, the company is working closely with the Chris Kyle Frog Foundation to treat a few couples to Date Night Out at the PIRTEK title race. The Foundation, launched by Taya Kyle to honor the life and legacy of her husband, “American Sniper” Chris Kyle, provides support to the families of first responders and military veterans. Date Night Out is an opportunity for couples to reconnect with each other and their communities.
In addition, PIRTEK will participate in Operation Vet NOW’s Vet Village during the title race weekend. Vet Village is an opportunity for military veterans to get information about a variety of mental health, career, and other military-to-civilian transitional programs. PIRTEK will feature its career and franchise ownership opportunities.
Individual franchisees also get involved in Snocross. Craig Heitkamp, owner of several Minnesota PIRTEK locations, is a yearly sponsor of the Hentges Racing Team, which has a strong track record of success in the snow-laden competitions.
The Snocross season ends with the Ram Trucks Snocross Grand Finale on March 20-22, 2020, in Lake Geneva, WI. In addition to Minnesota and Wisconsin, Snocross racers will fire up their vehicles for competitions in North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, New York, and Michigan.
As always, the PIRTEK logo will be affixed during the entire season to the track groomers that prepare the snow for the races. That means PIRTEK’s digital media character “Gary the Groomer” will again appear on the Snocross.com website.
“A lot of the Snocross fans are also Gary fans, and they enjoy following him on social media,” DeSeve said. “He gives updates on the track conditions, both on livestream and on social media. Gary adds to the fun of these races.”
