Brand-building efforts, strong customer response help propel Grand Rapids location
Oliver Romano has taken his business to the next level – literally. Romano had started a Tier 2, mobile-only PIRTEK location in March 2017 and is now operating a full, Tier 1 Service & Supply Center in Grand Rapids, MI.
“My customers wanted a physical location, so I set it up,” said Romano.
Immediately after setting up his Tier 2 business, Romano began working to establish a Tier 1 location to accommodate the anticipated growth and better solidify the PIRTEK name. “Having a store, a physical location helps develop the brand,” he said.
PIRTEK Grand Rapids serves a wide region of western Michigan that includes Kalamazoo, Holland and Muskegon. The location has served customers as far away as Traverse City, which is more than 140 miles from Grand Rapids.
Romano is a veteran of the U.S. Navy who took advantage of the reduced startup costs the company offers people who have served in the U.S. military. He said his success in Grand Rapids is the result of making the necessary sales contacts and doing a superlative job satisfying the customer. “We’re just getting out and letting people know we’re out here. That’s the main thing,” Romano said. “We have a good team. We offer quality services and get a lot of referrals. That’s helped out quite a bit.”
PIRTEK Grand Rapids grows from ‘mobile only’ to full Service & Supply Center
